Training and collaborations
The Chair was located in the Institute of Research in Public Health of University of Montreal (IRSPUM) and it benefitted from two types of collaboration :

  1. Graduate students, postdoctoral trainees, research assistants and co-investigators help catalyzed the scientific productivity of the Chair;

  2. External partners from government, professional associations, patient associations and the medical device industry have contributed to increase the relevance of research activities and to knowledge transfer.

Training
The Chair holder was instrumental in developing the Ulysses Master's Program, which started in 2001 and involved the collaboration of several universities and HTA agencies in Canada, Spain and Italy. She has been active in managing the program, serving as its Canadian Director between 2005 and 2010.

The following individuals successfully completed their training under the supervision of Pascale Lehoux:

  • Ulysses Master's Program: Janet Martin, Julie Fattal, Brigitte Côté, Pierre Dagenais, Alexandra Kossowski, Alexandre Beaudoin, Luigi Lepanto, Quan Hong and Shahira Bhimani.
  • University of Montreal, Public Health PhD program: Dahlia Kairy, Olivier Demers-Payette and Khalil Moqadem.
  • University of Montreal, Postdoctoral Program: Hudson Pacifico Da Silva and Loes Knaapen.
  • University of Montreal, Master?s Program: Olivier Demers-Payette and Geneviève Boyer-Legault.
  • Nijmegen University, PhD Program : Antoine Boivin.
  • University of Quebec in Montreal, Master?s Program : Stéphanie Lafleur.
  • University of Toronto, PhD Program (thesis committee) : Donna Bain, Lara Varpio, Jorge Silva and Renata Axler.
  • Three reserach assistants holding PhDs have contributed in many significant ways to the the Chair : Stéphanie Tailliez, Myriam Hivon and Geneviève Daudelin.
  • Patrick Vachon was responsible for the development and operations of the KTE Lab associated to the Chair (funded by the Canadian Foundation for Innovation).
  • Pauline Boinot coordinated many KTE activities.
